Bob is the founder and Managing Director of New Biomass Energy LLC (Wilson, Wyoming and Los Angeles, California). NBE is an alternative energy company focused on the production of clean, green, renewable energy from wood waste. NBE’s first production facility was placed in service in Quitman, Mississippi during August of 2011. When fully built out by the end of 2011 or early 2012, this plant will produce over 150,000 tons of torrefied wood pellets that will replace an equal amount of coal in power plants around the world.
Bob is also a Managing Director of Terra Partners LLC (Wilson, Wyoming and Los Angeles, California). Terra Partners LLC is an owner, buyer and seller of net bond lease properties with credit tenants and other real estate investments, specializing in sale-leasbacks, like-kind exchanges and other tax-favored transactions.
From 1968 to 1995 Bob was an associate (1968 to 1974) and partner (1974 to 1995) in the Los Angeles law firm of Kindel & Anderson where he served as Managing Partner and Chair of the Tax Department.
